It's been a few months since we last produced a newsletter - here are some of the things we're getting up to!

Many of you have been asking if we can open on Saturday. We’re pleased to announce we will open the second Saturday of the month from 10am – 1pm (until further notice).

Last winter our firewood, made from clean timber off cuts, was very popular with our customers with wood burning stoves and open fires.  This year we're making natural wood briquettes called Cambridge Hotlogs.  All the wood is sourced from our collections and is clean, dry, untreated and unpainted wood that even we cannot reuse and which would otherwise be recycled...

Cambridge Wood Works is supporting a new partnership which will help extend a Community RePaint scheme to southern parts of Cambridgeshire...

We always like to hear from customers who have used our reclaimed wood to make successful and affordable projects, such as this neat little chicken or rabbit house...

Cambridge Wood Works provided some large pallets for this community project. The pallets were stripped of wood from one side and then reinforced on the other to create the panels from which the bins were made.
