Chicken or rabbit house

Here’s a great example of the kind of things people can make from our reclaimed wood…

Our friend Alex sent us this picture with the following details:

materials cost = £20
13mm chicken wire netting (2 metre)  -  £3.86
Lift-off hinges (x1 pair)   -  £1.04
Catchplate latches (x2)  -  £1.82
Staples & screws   -   (£1.50)
Reclaimed timber  -  £5.00
Wood stain – £7.00

I like the look of the chicken/rabbit house, may I point out though, if the house is to be used for rabbits on a grass type base, chichen wire or somthing similar will need to be attatched to the bottom of the house, as I've found from experience, rabbits like to burrow!
